KONTINENT MEDIA AT THE GOLAN STUDIOS - ATOMIC IMAGING HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER – “The best Halloween Party in Chicago”

October 29, 2011, Chicago, IL, Kontinent Media attended the GOLAN STUDIOES Atomic Imaging Halloween fundraiser (www.atomicimaging.com). The party dubbed “Bark at the Moon” just south of North Avenue on the Chicago River took place in a “Haunted Ice-Factory” 5-building warehouse compound. Annually, the event organizers, who also happen to be filmmakers, use their talents to build sets reminiscent of a dramatic movie atmosphere and multimedia entertainment to attain a truly unforgettable experience for a few thousands guests.

This costume mandatory party was filled with serious party-goers who take their Halloween, seriously – and it shows. At this party there were Dukes and Duchess, Priests, Rabbis, Comic Book and Fairytale characters and even a multi person Tetris contraption. Those worthy of a title “The Best Costume” at the end of the night were awarded as part of a costume contest. The entertainment featured live bands, a room with a DJ and dancing, VIP area, and an all-inclusive food and an open bar beverage package.

“The crowd consisted of course of a great variety of people,” stated Kontinent’s special events coordinator Sergei Telis. He went on to add that quite a few of whom were there not for the first time. The host Ari Golan, himself in a costume, managed to assure the smooth party flow, which is quite amazing, given so many people pouring in, out, and between the several big party spaces.

However, what makes this event bigger and better than the rest, as if all of the above was not enough to warrant that title, is the Adaptive Adventures charity cause. This charity is a non-profit organization that provides rehabilitative sports activities for children and adults with physical disabilities and partners with the Wounded Warrior Project for veterans injured in military service.

Leonard Mogul for Kontinent Media, remarked that “it was truly a great opportunity to cover a magnificent event that had a fundraising charity cause.” He also added that “the fact that one of the event organizers proposed on the stage, to his now fiancé, made this event even more special.”
