(Tulsa) – There has emerged a new not-for-profit organization in Middle America: The Foundation for the Symposium of International Arts, Music, and Entertainment (SIAME). Their focus is to unite a wide variety of organizations and businesses that support talents ranging from art, music, and entertainment to everything in between through a global lense. The plans are ambitious yet realistic. The planners are young, but passionate and persistent with a mindset to prevail.

One of the foundation’s trustees, John M. Cooper says, “There has always been a great pool of talent in Middle America that has to leave to pursue their artistic goals and dreams. We believe those talents should and can be nurtured to blossom here. Tulsa is a great center of art and culture in this part of the country, and a natural home for such an endeavor.”

According to executive director, Trevor C Lane, “With international resources available through the Internet, collective global relationships in the Tulsa community, and support of others around the world like our partners at Kontinent Media, we are aiming to strengthen our local district for a higher level of collaboration, and begin expanding our efforts over the course of time throughout the region.”

The founders and trustees of SIAME are focused on building strong relationships and alliances with businesses and organizations in an effort to bring people together for collaboration, while providing a platform for education and understanding of best-practices. The main focus at this point for the executive directors is pursuing grants, donations, and sponsorships for events and programming, as a tax exempt organization. Everyone is a volunteer and all proceeds benefit the SIAME Foundation.

In order to accomplish their global mission, the SIAME Foundation has partnered with Kontinent Mediato put a focus on the Russian culture that embraces art, music, and entertainment. Along with other small events in the annual calendar, the two organizations will be hosting a small private soiree this fall, the “I AM SIAME” event which will provide more insight into their goals, collective endeavors, the various international partners, and a preliminary exhibition of what to expect in the future, especially as it revolves around their non-profit mission statement.

The SIAME Foundation is hopeful the City of Tulsa will be receptive to their ambitions and will help to impact Middle America as it localizes its headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The group believes being centrally located in Tulsa will make it easier for coast to coast collaboration with industry professionals from Hollywood, Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville. Centralized efforts from an epic-center are projected to bring international professionals to the Tulsa community and place the local artists, musicians, and entertainers in a global spot light. The SIAME Foundation has planned a few free community eventsopen to the public, which will lay the cornerstones for bringing people, families, and friends together.
